In the established mythos of WoD, that would make them Wyrmish, which I suppose could work, but they'd be very, very different, and while WW never met an antagonist group it wouldn't eventually let you play, I don't think Wyrm games were anywhere near as common as Sabbat. The best game I was a part...

seems like an odd choice, I think kitsune date back further than any European werewolf stories.
In White Wolf Russia new is the one they cared to write about last!

There are specifically thing that White Wolf was too lazy to think through they are forbidden to access. The first is time before dinosaurs (previous extinction), the third is the reason War of Rage started (it's hinted that Mokole may be at fault) and I either missed the second thing or it's not me...

Yup, i'm positive there was no master plan. Insect wars are mentioned only in breed book Ananasi and never again. Half of the authors probably never knew it happened. Breed book Mokole states that garou are the youngest breed and came after the ice age while most tribe books specifically state that ...

Nope, I'm positive on Furies ) No way I'm confusing an all-lupus tribe with all-female tribe :) Maybe that's just my perception of the tribe, but the whole mythology Furies are based on just screams primordial, and I'm sure there was something in their tribe book (awful as it is). Also, I'm reading ...

BSD are wyrm-tainted, Furies are slowly falling to wyld. Even one of the apocalypse stories have them struck with changing plague

I just read the Mokole book and they outright state that Corax and Nagah are 'subspicies' of Mokole - they evolved from them

I should really read Rokeф breedbook. Don't they follow an entirely different cosmogony?
And yeah, I think ratkin are 'tainted', much like Black Furies

The whole Ananasi story puts a big question mark on Gaia dominance. The breedbook outright says that Gaia is just a wyld incarna, which is obviously propaganda, but there should be some credit to it. Either all werecreatures are gaian creations or if each triad head can create it's own were-s, Gaia ...

The worst thing is that next chapter repeats the whole thing once more. In more detail. The same story. At least, there are some minor things that point at the whole 'we are the good guys' part of the story being not entirely true

Yeah, I think Samsa are modernish creation. I don't remember the details, but aren't these breeds meant to be perversion of 'good' breeds? I mean, they aren't part of Gaia's plan Also, samsa is a kind of pastry. Like turnovers with savory/meat filling. Reading about a cockroach breed with culinary n...

Now I really want to explore that. Especially considering, if I remember right, that Corax were supposed to be next step in werecreatures evolution. It's been a while since I read Breed Book Corax, can you tell me a bit more about that? Skipping the dogfucking obsession (seriously guys, the horse i...

Re: OSSR: Breedbook Mokole

No mention is made of the Rokea. Mokole, however, really should be allies of the weresharks, because a lot of the same themes are present- distrust of the garou, encroaching market economy, standing against the Wyrm without aid from the mammal changing breeds, being the oldest... I'd love to see a ...

Without the V20 nonsense, "Summon History" is the power you get that does that, and it is the nine dot version. Which means you'd have to be a 4th generation True Brujah, of which there are only 2 and they are both big penis NPCs you will never diablerize. -Username17 And even if you do b...

I think making starting generation 12 for VAV was just lazy pasting from 'that other past age book we did'. At least DA:V gave us the ability to play with cool six-point disciplines without drinking storyteller's favorite npc first

The Camarilla, the Sabbat, and the Anarchs all had slightly different ankhs and you do not care. I'm pretty sure the only reason ankh made it into the game as a symbol is because David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve used ankh-shaped knives to kill in Hunger. As with humanity being a louis-meter, vtm, ...
