If I have neither Cerberus nor Eachtar, can I put together a decent midrangey Shadow deck? Should I just craft Eachtar?

That looks almost exactly like tempo Daria without Daria, yes. My actual Daria deck right now is 3x Insight 3x Magic Missile 3x Conjure Golem 2x Wind Blast 2x Piercing Rune 3x Fate's Hand 1x Enchanted Sword 2x Kaleidoscopic Glow 3x Craig 3x Levi 3x Clarke 3x Emmylou 3x Ogler 3x Blade Mage 2x Daria 1...

There's a lot of clunky rules, and because there's like five separate W40k RPGs there's a lot of rules that are almost but not quite the same across versions. Some of it's pretty big, like the psionics system getting entirely rewritten, sometimes it's smaller like the effects of Full Auto vs Semi Au...

I'm not sure how you could possibly play D-shift without a bunch of other spellboosty stuff. Fate's Hand, Fiery Embrace, and Flame Destroyer seem like pretty important components of the combo. After all, you're not always going to be able to get the cost of D-shift itself down to 0, so having the op...

What does the fattie package for Ginger look like? With a target of eight heavies, it seems like you have a lot of flexibility. Zeus, Bahamut, Lucifer, and Israfil all seem pretty good, without losing value in multiples. A single Archangel Reina obviously goes in the deck. If you have an Erasmus tha...

Sounds right about Ginger. It seems like a really interesting deck, and if I had twenty thousand vials or so I would try to fill in the pieces of it I don't have. Having a framework that actually plays those high-value Rune cards that don't fit into Daria would be nice. --- Last night I did a Take-T...

Frank, can I see your math on the odds of drawing a Ginger by turn 9? If you start with three, draw nine over the next nine turns, and draw three more thanks to spells or followers, you see 15 cards out of 40. As far as I can tell, the odds that at least one of those 15 is a Ginger is 1 - (25/40)(24...

I had to look up First Curse, and immediately went "Oh, that's way better than I remembered it being." Because I remembered it adding the Second Curse to your deck, not your hand. So actually if you don't mind playing cards with poor spellboost synergy, the part where it pretty much guaran...

So just... a Nephthys deck without an actual Nephthys in it, where you trade out the overwhelmingly powerful Nep turns for the option to include 1- and 5-drops. Sounds pretty workable if you don't have the card. --- Over in Runecraft, my Daria deck is still going pretty strong. I haven't really made...

https://shadowverse.com/news/important/news-0054 So, there's some Known Bugs about abilities being improperly described, but nothing about Minthe, Belphegor, or Heavenly Aegis. You win the turn after you play a Seraph, not four turns after, because you spend the next turn playing some combination of Healing Prayers, Hallowed Dogmas, IDK if Seraph runs Master Sages but in principle they could, etc. It does mean that a "safe turn" for playing Aegis is just one wher...

What kind of deck does Dolorblade Warrior fit in? It feels like he wants to be played when you have something with cool Last Words effects out, but he fits extremely poorly into Nephthys decks. Havencraft seems remarkably good in Take Two. It seems harder for people to just run over you quickly, meaning that the ridiculous value for mana you get out of amulets is a very big deal.

From my experience playing 5e, its combat system is basically 3.5e except the spells are mostly shittier and the rest of its rules don't exist in any concrete form whatsoever. Romneycare was passed by vetoproof majorities of Democrats in the Massachussetts Senate. We know they were vetoproof because Romney actually line-item vetoed a good chunk of it. It's really dishonest to say that Republicans basically like Obamacare as long as Obama's name isn't on it.

So, in my head, I can imagine a hypothetical setup where we have lots of political parties, and all of them have basically competent suggestions for how to run and improve the country, and voting is a matter of deciding which tactics or emphases are most important. If hogarth wasn't talking about proportional change, I have no idea what he could have been talking about instead. What is "A 10% increase in the amount of healing or resurrection you need" if it isn't a proportional change?

An increase from 75% to 85% is 10 percentile points and a (85 - 75)/75 * 100% = 13.333...% proportional increase. Similarly, the rest of Sergarr's math is also right. Don't get smug and accuse people of being amazingly wrong on simple math when you're not even aware of the fact that "proportion...

Recall that Lina casts Dragon Slave in the very first episode of Slayers. It's never her go-to spell, sure, but she has it and uses it to end combats right from the get-go. So if you're positing that as the capstone of her advancement, uh, I'm not terribly sure that's totally thought through.
