If the idea is to take 20 to chip away at the steel wall with your spoon then you basically are going Edmond Dantes.

Which I can actually deal with. A murderhobo is obviously stronger than Edmond Dantes so it can take less time.

I hear you can get bit by teeth. I've never heard of an infection biting anyone. Obviously teeth are much *more* dangerous.

I've read quite a bit of books since the last time I posted but it's late and I don't really remember which are the most important ones to talk about. The most recent book (as of the last 20 minutes) I've finished is Jo Walton's "My Real Children." It's a sobering book about a 75+ year old...

Based purely on personal anecdotal evidence, there is something to be said about actually having a set routine that involves your mind everyday. I've seen my grandfather and my wife's grandfather both deteriorate rapidly after being unable to work and after losing their significant other.

I might actually use that for a mad science birthday party. But other than that, play dough and sparkle never make it into my house for the very reasons that darkmaster brought up.

My 8-year-old wants a mad scientist party. It's fairly easy to plan but I want to push it up a notch and also prop up some famous female mad/crazy scientists. The only really crazy female scientist that I know pretty well is Marie Curie. It's easy to push her crazy/silly/sadness onto people based on...

If you like style, boogiepop phantom is pretty good. BP is a little more surreal than Samurai Champloo was.

As a dad, I'd have to say that there's a place and itme for something along the Michigan law. I mean, in cases of abuse, this obviously is a good thing but even that has problems. I can't really see how allowing my 8-year-old this sort of of freedom is a smart thing. I don't understand the thinking ...

I'm trying to remember an anime I saw several years ago. It's a fantasy setting set in medieval (not modern?) japan with one of the main plots being that the life of a young prince is being guarded by this mysterious female warrior. It's basd off a light novel or just plain novel series but the anim...
