To any of you that gave valid emails on the Heartbreaker Press survey last year, rewards were sent to any valid emails given. Enjoy. I'll be sending followup emails to those that didn't have a DTRPG account attached to the supplied address. To the people that gave fake/insulting addresses rather tha...

Yeah, went to the doc about depression 10 years ago and he basically blew me off, as he tends to do with most medical problems my family brings to his attention. Things only ever seemed to show improvement with the herbal supplement, which made me realise just how much my my ability to think was bei...

So, been wondering what some options are for anxiety and depression treatment. Started using St John's Wort back in the summer and it definitely seems to work for me, though keeping stocked can be a pain in the ass (Plus it isn't tax deductible like prescription meds). I guess I have general anxiety...

Got the print version of Red Dawn up on DTRPG now. With a $2 discount, even. Came out pretty nice, but I can't say I'm impressed with the paper in their "premium colour" grade. Still, it looks slick as hell.

On sale now.

Sorry for the delay, everyone. Had a busy week or so, then I had to edit out any emails at the ends of files. I'll be releasing the survey summaries of all the survey's I'd posted, rather than the detailed data I'm sure you were all craving, but this give the gist of it even if not all the text answ...

For the record, America can keep Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer. Canada can do without them.

I will be closing the surveys on November 13th and I'll be posting the results by the 20th at latest. In other news, we hit our first professional milestone! While I may have missed my desired Halloween deadline by a day, I want to present the first release from Heartbreaker Press: Red Dawn, by Virg...

So, while I may have missed my desired Halloween deadline by a day, I want to present the first release from Heartbreaker Press: Red Dawn, by Virgil Clemens. I have to say, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. The layout and typesetter (Simeon Cogswell) is very good and really made it shine. I'd...

You might want to make an edit- the first question about payment doesn't specify if it's per person or per game table, while the second question does specify per person. I was confused for a bit trying to decide if the question was "how much should the GM be paid" or "what would I pe...

Someone that game masters as a profession, as in for money. I've seen mentions of such things on messageboards occasionally for like 10 years, so I figured I'd do some surveys on it. Word of mouth has been really positive, I've found.

Tabletop RPG Preferences Survey

Hello, everyone. Well, I have a few things in the works, even if I'm still in the lurch for a layout/typesetter and a new editor. Anyway, been waiting a while, but I have some plans to expand our services some, and would like to gauge interest. Here's the link, so if you could complete the survey I'...

Have you tried using ClassicShell? It's what I use for Windows 10. Makes it look/sorta act like 7 or XP.

Alternatively, Linux Mint isn't bad.

I've generally been paying writers 6 cents a word for freelance work, though the pay scale could go up or down depending on what the quality is.

It's also worth remembering that when you first put on the armour the HUD changes from alien text to English. The explanations I'd heard basically sums up that Doom and Doom 2 were ancient pre-history, and THEN moved to Earth after everything on Mars got ruined, then history sort of regressed and go...

Been playing a... wouldn't necessarily call it a game as much as a visual novel. It's called VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action and it is pretty decent so far. Waifu bartending gameplay at its best. Done in an old style of graphics, presumably to emulate the like, PC-98 or whatever from Japan....

Doom is pretty damn good. I do find it funny that Nvidia Experience says my PC isn't good enough to run it, and so it won't do optimization on it. On the other hand, the game itself runs at 60 FPS, at least on Vulkan. Heh.

Apparently DMG2 had rules for booby traps that I somehow missed until a few weeks ago. May be worth checking it as well. Plus apparently there's an infusion that can instantly produce some traps for like, 12 hours.

How do I get translations online to display a compatible writing system? For instance, when I try to find out what Russian words mean google insists on giving answers in cyrillic, which doesn't exactly help. I'd prefer results like "Kaliningradskaya oblast" rather than say, "&#105...
