Its not an OSSR by any means, but it is shockingly complete and comprehensive.

3.5, with pathfinder if im allowed to call them the same thing. Otherwise 3.5. Paranoia Shadowrun 4e. shadowrun is chosen mostly for its rules, not so much its setting (which is fine). between it and d20, i can probably write my own variant for any setting i feel like playing. RIFTS is a contender, ...

Dragon age came out when 4e was fresh and people didnt really know what was gonna happen with it, pathfinder, something else?. I looked at it pretty heavy and remember being pissed at the random character gen stuff. I had a big list of house rules to make it playable, and eventually decided it was t...

Since we are posting heartbreakers, here are mine. "Finished" - IE playable and I've actually convince people to play. 1 - Europa of Jupiter - Sci fi set in our solar systems in the year 2500. Its rules light, and relatively realistic sci fi. You play as traders between earth and europa. 2...

I struggled with the specific recovery mechanics for a few. Some seemed too common and others not common enough. One day id like to playtest it and see how they fair in real scenarios. If you have suggestions or feedback i am open to them. Example: as written diamond mind probably allows someone to ...

If you've got no money in the account close it, and go back to real paychecks. It will be a bitch to not have direct deposit, and auto payments and stuff, but at least you stop paying overdraft fees. Find a new bank with minimal required balances, Google says there are some where its as low as 25$. ...

ill throw still playing as my response. But slowly my group is adding more and more pathfinder. Which seems like a net loss. 3.0/3.5 - I'd say most of my group wouldn't notice if we were to swap between them and it really seems like something that a minority of heavy rules knowledgeable folks even r...

Krusk's ToB Hack

Unplaytested - Math is half done. Went on a rant and put this together as a proof of concept. Wanted to preserve it somewhere better than google docs. What is this? I’ve always been displeased with the final result of ToB. I get the big direction isn’t great for 3.x in concept, and it's an obvious p...

i played magic from like 95-08. my group still plays off and on, and will ask me to come to prerelease or release drafts on occasion. I generally don't look at the deck list ahead of time, and just draft rares or stuff with under 3 mana cost. I also generally place enough that i win some prize and o...

your land types are bullshit. They are all generally too broad. A temple is super generic and doesn't tell me literally anything about a building, except that someone holds it in high reverence. If its even a building and not an outside space. Ruins can be anything, so long as its old and broken. Al...

Overloght is made by the guys who own my flgs. They are real big Roleplayer, not roll players and really into apocalypse world and similar rules light games. Remember that the Monster Manual 5 was the result of David Noonan being told explicitly that the fans didn't want the Monster Manual 5 to waste large amounts of page count on monsters with class levels, on irrelevancies like cave maps, or on long-winded tirades about monster gangs. Then the draft h...

its not really really dead. You get spellcasting, animal sphere bonuses, and companion increases. Thats actually more than a lot of classes get.

if others agree, I was debating on a speak with animals effect for your companions and followers. Ill throw that in.
