While, yes, that's anecdotal... but it pretty much tells me what I wanted to know. That's unfortunate. :/

Pelgrane seems to have put out a bunch of stuff for it, did it ever have legs?

Crustacean/Insect people. Maybe make 'em bee people so there's some excuse for the women having breasts like "that's where honey is stored". Saw a great PIXIV illustration of that concept, forgot where i put it. [img]data:image/jpeg;base64,/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAgEASABIAAD/4RzARXhpZgAATU0AKgAAA...

Dragons of some variety are something I see a lot of younger players want to be.
So, if there's a half-dragon, kids tend to be all over that. As well as shape-shifting classes like druids. (Or wizards with Poly)

Touche, I neglected to specify that I wanted to remove Charisma from the basic stat array and then also specify that I have no intention of replacing it. Because it's fucking useless and I haven't seen much supporting evidence for MOAR STATS. I will now proceed to try and be as concise and specific ...

Re: Charisma should be a skill

What is used to resist charisma 'attacks' then, and what are the effects of charisma in this game. I could see charisma attacks being defended with a will save in d20 terms. Other skills could provide bonuses or possibly act as a stand-in defense if high enough or applicable. Effects would most lik...

Charisma should be a skill

... Or something akin to a skill. However your imagined system works. Naturally charismatic people can simply represent themselves with a frontloaded charisma skill or by picking talents/backgrounds... Whatever. From a d20 perspective I think it pretty easily fits in that Gray space most of the usef...

I just ran into a nifty homebrew page-layout generator in the style of 5e. I haven't played with it much, but it seems like a pretty cool way to turn house rules into a professional-looking digital format for your players. (I can see both dark and light side uses for this.) As for useful tools that ...

I thought the thread that determined "Klugian" was interesting. I wouldn't mind that being a dennism. (Like Mister Cavern)

But I do think it's difficult for people outside The Den to know why it's supposed to mean, considering Klug doesn't have the same name recognition as Gygax.

Be careful with the Lobster. You know, for all that I usually disagree with Phonelobster and find him frustrating to argue with, in this case he's entirely in the right. It is a pretty big problem if your game claims to be based on another system while changing every aspect of that system. There is...

the ninja turtles run around the tuck in pointy weapons all the time, and their new cartoon is a lot of fun. Also there is Adventure Time. That literally riffs off of D&D all the time and is immensely popular. So it's actually a little disappointing that Dungeons & Dragons actually doesn't h...

Volo The same line of thought ran through my head, too, Momo. But I think he's referencing the blasé(sp?) approach to monster lists. ADnD used Volo in a bunch of lore stuff. "Volo's Guide to..." books were set up sort of like shadowrun's weapon books with the in-world chatter on the sides...

I would think renaming standard action might be better?

* Full is now called Standard
* Standard is now called Basic

Full might now even take up ALL the things. ( no extra moves possibly not even a quick )
E.g..
* full action, done
Or
* standard action, move, done
Or
* basic action, move, move, done
