Initiative isn't really one of things that need to be fixed, but as Frank noted, it is entirely deterministic. I recommend the approach of 'roll once for a combat scene and don't bother rerolling' because it saves time, but you'll find most SR combat is over in one round anyway. (Especially when you...

The best way to 'fix' the DnD alignment system is, as other have noted, ignore it entirely. This does leave the various 'Protection from <X>' and Paladin shit in the lurch, but ultimately that's a minor problem that can either be ignored or handwaved. If, however, you wanna keep the alignment tags, ...

First, you need to run a game of SPULTURATORAH! the dark narrativist game of gamist simulationism in ancient retro-future Babylon . Then, once you have absorbed the lesson, that your so-called "friends" are nothing but meat sacks flopping around in the fashion of an outgassing corpse, pil...

Given superspeed and the retardedly short length of actual combat in SR, I prefer to stretch out the non-combat bits. The first encounter firefight with Team 1 of Corpsec might be only a few seconds, but actually going down the hallway and swiping keycards/hacking or whatever takes <however long you...

Concrete Revolutio is great. It's an incredibly nuanced look at post-War Japanese culture and militarization through the lens of superheroes. I highly recommend it.

What the fuck, since when the Den become a refuge for neo-reactionary stragglers? Are we gonna start hearing about the Cathedral and the Catholic Church as the moral foundation of the West again too? Maybe quotes from Mencius Moldbug? Good fucking god

Which is my point. The second a CCG went fully digital and mobile, it matched the industry leader in 2 years. And this is a well-regarded brand.

Female thor is actually not a retcon and read the actual comics you sexist fuck? There's a well-written arc to why the Odinson stops being able to wield the hammer and the girl takes over.

Wait, so Onyx Path isn't gonna be releasing Mage splats? That's a shame, mage 20 is actually not terrible (as it could have been, and it seems just a little bit tighter than 3rd revised, which honestly beat my expectation by like a thousand percent.)

I think, honestly, people find the whole idea of 'lug around shittons of hardcovers you and your friends need to have in part or in whole' is a pretty outmoded way of socialising, even for geeks. There is no way to have a breakout TTRPG without a heavy digital component (even if its just an app on y...

Maglag, how are you planning to deal with the round-randomised maneuver list and the 3-round script that we'll be doing? I don't think the Crusader is a good fit for a PbP game.

Okay, so it turns out that Create Deathless is a 6th level domain spell, so I actually can't get it . So I might just go cleric on the other side.

EDIT: Actually, I could take Attune Domain if Tome is in.

Yeah, that looks fine. I'll need to swap out the summon undead tree with something (or I guess I could keep it? Might be useful, despite the fact I actually hurt my little undead buddies by using my abilities. C'est la ne vie!)

So, depending on how the voting goes, the current idea is Celadrin LA+1 (Dragon 350) Tome Fighter 2 (Races of War)/Dread Necromancer-Positive Variant (Heroes of Horror). I suppose if people okay the positive-energy dread necro, I should retool some of his stuff? How much rejiggering are you alright ...

Cool. My concept is an elf-y elf who creates Deathless and I wanna get into Bladesinger. Soooper CG elfy elf. A real elf's elf. So far, I'm thinking (if RoW=0) Duskblade/Positive-energy Dread Necro CG Sun Elf. If RoW is in, then Fighter/Positive-energy Dread Necro.
