This is both US and non-US, but the fallout will be felt outside of the US. Trump officially said the US will recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and begin the process of moving the US embassy . Trump does not appear concerned about potentially derailing the peace efforts between Israel and Pal...

Is this a trap? Am I making a bad choice? If yes, what would be a good, not too broken character for casual play?. Trap? No, not in the sense you're picking up a worthless piece of shit. Bad choice? Yeah, probably. Being able to replace most of the party with disposable minions and flood the action...

I'm going to say the probable impetus behind the design was laziness. The class looks like if someone was given the criteria of making a Shifter, looked at the work, decided to not do it and instead create some BS to try and emulate it without any of the actual work. Either that or they hit a deadl...

Well, we aren't actually sure that they did. It seems to be the hill the paizo fanboys picked to die on- that it's ok for a class to be terrible if it's for beginners. And, further they claimed that somewhere one of the designers said it, but can't point out where. Though admittedly, no one would be...

Of fucking course the armor you're wearing and benefitting from should still have its drawbacks as well. Fucknugget. This isn't a bad ruling. Agreed on the ruling. On the other hand, it is pretty dumb to have to make a ruling on that rather than include the fact that the dex cap, movement penalties...

Well, kind of. Aragorn actually wanders around for most of the trip to Rivendell without a functional sword. So there are in fact things he could buy, but Tolkien was more interested than allegory than good writing or believable characters. If he didn't have a sword before the scene on Mt.Weatherto...

A of the last update Parson appeared in, he's almost certainly going back to Earth. That's been set up hard, and if it doesn't happen it will be quite disappointing. It's been set up as someone's (well, several people's) goal, yes. It's also been established that Erfworld stomps on people really da...

It's wildshape is way worse than the druids. You have to pick an aspect at level 1, and then 5, 10, 15. You can only wildshape into those specific forms. So, Deinonychus or Tiger is absolutely required as one of the first two (to get pounce at 8th, as well as several more natural attacks). A lot are...
Not really, I couldn't get past the stupid baby talk. Do you mean the word substitution with *boop* instead of shit or fuck? That goes away, and isn't really a big deal. @Hicks- that was before Wizard of Oz became the prelude to the story. And some fuckery with artists, and with the author just not...

Shifter is on PFSRD now. Look ye upon their works and despair. ... This is so full of shit. Is there 1 player who intend to play a shifter, or is this class a complete waste of space ? There were people who intended to play a shifter, but even they didn't see this sack of garbage coming. Backlash o...

Huh, thanks. That's both more and less weird than I expected.Pixels wrote:Telegraph article on the subject. Or more directly from the horse's mouth, an RT article.
It always gets me right here when churches are dismissing DNA evidence.

Paizo has a hate boner for adding dex to damage. Is there a real reason for that or is it Paizo being contrary for the sake of being contrary? Something something god stat maybe. Which is true in theory, but there are some overly complicated ways to get it anyway (feat chains + specific archetypes)...

Well, it's Monty Haul. The tactic of picking up everything, letting no resource go to waste. It's a problem of roll-playing over roleplaying. The fuck it is. Why is that shitty meme even in your brain? For the editions that generated the idea, prioritizing survival by way of wealth and therefor cha...

For such piddly bonuses, and for a class presumed to be for newbies, I don't get why they have this time tracking mechanic on the minor form bonuses that aren't even given for free when using wildshape. Just allow the minor form bonus to be constantly on, with an action to switch. The amusing thing...

Eh. Not Slitherine's first 40k game. Armageddon was dogshit, and Sanctus reach wasn't much better. 4x tech trees seems like missing the point of the setting, and from the screen shots, Civ style units where a unit of 5 marines or guardsmen bounce off each other while a Whirlwind tank bombards a city...

Eh. Some level of competence and awareness of what the customer base wants (or thinks it wants) is required. Paizo is getting pushback on the idea that the shifter is too simple and made for noobs, because their customer base exists on the back of complicating 3e. 5e, on the other hand, took the one...
