Unless you're doing some extremely specific cheese -- none of which come to mind -- there's no reason to be an Oracle over a cleric. Being behind a spellcaster level AND not automatically knowing every spell is not just a kick in the balls, it's a kick in the eye, nose, teeth, throat, gut, buttocks...

It baffles me how people who ever played a monk can believe that, but they do. If the Monk moves his full speed and can't make his super awesome single attack (which will miss) he can Aid Another instead!

Star Wars pretty much ignores all the problems technology might bring to the game so it might as well be reflavored fantasy.
