On the one hand, a Fire Mage's Ray of Light comes online at lvl 14. On the other hand, a Fire Mage does more damage per attack and can TWF for more attacks. On the Griping Hand, a Driller does crazy high crits. I'd call them about even but I'll have to check the math. Maybe move the prerequisite BAB...

Why not make this a Transmutation specialist who casts spells by cooking food? He can only infuse food with magic once a day and magic-infused food spoils after 24 hours so he works like a spice-themed Wizard. Something like a Beguiler or Dread Necromancer. You can throw in Spice Metamagic as a clas...

I would like to bring to your attention this thread on 3.5 Some of the highlights: By a strict reading of the rules, you must wait until your next action to cry out in pain after being hit in combat. Dire Elephants have a +23 skill bonus to Climb, and are listed as having a Climb speed of 10. Which ...

Weird Book List
I'm making a book list for an Army program. What I want is 10-15 books that, when read, will make people think, challenge their assumptions and hopefully teach them critical thinking. This is a preparation program for higher ranks and also Sociology classes that my commanding officer wants to run. S...

There's some things I feel don't fit? I've worked out how that conversion goes. I did a long time ago. I just don't quite like it exactly for Exalted? OK :thumb: Also, Celestials get Demon Chi (in this case, Heavenly Chi or Celestial Chi) with a Hyperactive Chi Condition of the Chi displays. If the...

Why don't you just, you know, use WotG as is? Kung Fu works a lot better than Exalted Combat Charms Actually, WotG combat looks a lot like what Exalted combat is trying to be. Quick, easy-to-use and atmospheric/inspiring. WotG Courtier Arts are a lot better than Exalted Social Charms. They, like, wo...

It's not for d20 but Gurps LRM is the only Ritual Magic system that I'd want to play.
If you just want to adapt a system and not hose fighters I suggest making everything a level check and leaving it at that.

I'm in the army now
So, for the past month I've been in what amounts to Basic/Boot Camp and now I'll be leaving for Specialist training. However, I haven't actually done any training because I've been sick. For 3,5 fricking weeks. So, I had a cold which turned into a flu which revealed my sinusitis and was accompanied ...

Crissa, would you mind listing what you use (and, if possible, what it does)? Here's my list: Advanced Trade Skill Window (allows queues on Professions as well as many other goodies) Auctioneeer (awesome mod if you plan to ever use the Auction House. Also very useful for Enchanters) Cartographer3 (B...

As I am now level 11 the cap was a damn lie. My advice to new players of WoW is this: USE MODS! Seriously, Quest Helper+ Cartographer turns the game into Oblivion with quest markers and all. Gatherer plus DB will have you set up with money for forever. And these are only a few of the many, many awes...

1) Keep any cloth you find. 2) Get professions as quickly as possible. I was thinking of picking up tailoring. But there was nobody to train me at the first village. Hopefully I'll find somebody on the second. On the other hand, I can only play till level 10 with my trial account and I'm already 6 ...

WoW: I'm giving it a try
I got a 10 day trial from a friend and I'll be playing on Chamber of Aspects on the European server. We're playing Horde. Since I'm leaving for the Army in a month this is one-shot only.

Awesome. I had this crazy idea once. Hang out in New Zealand. Toast to the new year. Get on a jet plane. Keep flying east. Reach the next time zone every hour on the hour and toast to the new year. Donate Liver to science. There are two sets of islands seperated by the time line. So not only can yo...

Re: Fundamentalists
Damn, if only we had some kind of outside giant source of energy, to supply the Earth with huge amounts of energy. Something massive, like a big fusion-reactor to hover around, like a star or something. What are you talking about? The Sun is just a slightly big and warm source of light that goes ar...

I found out a site with fundamentalist quotes. I've been laughing for a couple of hours now. Here's the Top 100 [continuing his hard-on for the KJV] If your original Hebrew disagrees with my original King James --- your original Hebrew is wrong.
