Damn, I hope there’s a way to restore Strength damage in this game.

Oh, wow. Shadows are notoriously deadly (not sure if they have the same Str-damage abilities as they do in later editions) so I’d be tempted to just retreat asap.

We already have the keyword from recruiting earlier so I'm not sure this one will give us any more help. Still, it doesn't seem like it costs us anything, so recruit them anyways. And go after the elf-spear. We don't seem to actually have a proper BBEG killing weapon so it should be useful.

Eh, it was either going to heal us or kill us. Go with Darow Blackaxe, I think (if he kicks the bucket, then Ondrin should probably be next pick). And loot everything from Delfi's body when we get the chance, especially that +3 sword and +1 shield.

From a survival perspective staying put seems pretty wise, but from a gamebook perspective I'm guessing we're not supposed to do nothing.

Yeah, I assume the Rune of Death is where the necromancer's located, while the other two runes might have stuff that will help us against the Necromancer. So North sounds good.
