Re: 2024 Election Thread
Fuuuuuuuuuck off. You are wrong, so yes, I do get to say "pick ANY issue" and will continue. Well I would continue but I'm sick of reading this idiocy. So a response-rant and then I sign off again. Israel. This has to by hypothetical for Trump since he has no direct influence here. But Tru...

Re: 2024 Election Thread
You are expected to run a marathon. Voting Trump means losing your left leg. Voting Biden means losing your right leg. They are both unfit for the position, but you lot do not get to have that choice . . Pretty sure that in the end they both will do about 85 to 90% the same things as the other woul...

Re: D&D Movie
I've watched some Dimension 20 games. I think their games are more magic tea party/yes-and-Improv than I like when actually playing an RPG, but I think it does make for better watching than an actual crunchy game. And to be clear, the D&D movie is nothing like watching someone people play TTRPG....

Re: Can Prestige Classes Be Salvaged?
FWIW, I couldn't bring myself to follow the text discussion on discord because I dislike reading tons of text on my phone, especially in a group messaging format, and going a step further where I have to scroll back and forth to find the messages I want to respond to... nah. I'm probably not gonna s...

Re: D&D Movie
It is a fuckin low bar, but I did honestly enjoy the movie and have a lot of fun in the watching. I think I've watched it once again at home and still enjoyed it. I don't get out to the movie theatre too much anymore. I think other 2023 movies I saw were Equalizer 3 (this was a piece of garbage movi...

Re: [5e] Rules for damaging (magic) items
Resistance is half damage. And current rules I think make no distinction between attended and unattended items so no distinction between whether an AoE hits items. Area attacks in 5e by RAW just destroy everything worn and carried so fights go naked very fast at higher levels. Therefore this change ...

We have many longtime members. Could some of us be given moderator status to ban the bots n delete their threads? I don’t post often anymore but I don’t want to see the place overrun by spambots.

Re: Move Based Deterministic Narrative Fighting Game
Ah, so several misconceptions leaves my analysis void. The Schroedinger's token assignment was intentional tho since I was intending to see if there was a line of attack where one or the other could guarantee victory even against perfect hard-counters. With defense it actually becomes more nebulous ...

Re: Move Based Deterministic Narrative Fighting Game
I was plotting out optimal outcomes for a duel of an old master and young prodigy... YP opens with an Attack 4 x2 (with the intent that opponent either runs away with Defense 3, or wastes 4 tokens to tie or 5 to win, or they lose 1 HP with 0 tokens spent, they cannot afford to lose 1st round since Y...

Wow really? Then how do you even use a 5G phone? Do you have to climb on the roof :That’s_the_neat_part._You_don’t.jpg: I groan whenever my phone is on 5G. It’s my wish.com internet connection. Heh. I tried using my phone last night while waiting outside for fireworks at a nearby city display and i...

Re: [Tome] Rogue
An update. Or Tome Shadow Rogue 2.0 if you will... Rogue 2.0 I've been playing rogues and such and their damage per round with TWF is just stupidly high. And in the last years I grew disillusioned with combat feats, deciding they weren't the way. So this version of rogue focuses more on being able t...

I look forward to seeing the movie again. My dad took my kids to see it a few days ahead of me, so that meant I got to watch it with several of my gaming buddies instead. Great movie, lots of fun.

Rad speaks true. Using his downloaded den he was able to quickly find stuff that I had been unable to pull up using google site search. Makes me wonder if the lazy google overlords didn't bother to index the entire message board.

If you have autologin then the password is saved in your browser. Should be able to check it from Preferences and then probably a sub-menu like Security.

I ended with the same conclusion because I was walking through my thought process on how I got to that conclusion. It would have been quite unusual if I arrived at a new location using the same starting point and directions. I am sorry this simple rhetorical device flummoxed you so. In the absence o...
