So, something that nags at me in both D&D and Pathfinder: unless you have class features that specifically require it, why would you ever wield a single one-handed weapon over a two-hander as a meleer? For that matter, why wield a quarterstaff either?

So, now that we have even more 2/3s casters in the hunter and the warpriest, how do the various 2/3s casters that aren't the summoner stack up against each other? Like, which is better between Magus and Alchemist? And inquisitor and bard are there too.

I think I'm more inclined to Oracle over shaman anyway, simply because I think it's easier to fluff an oracle as more independent and self-determining than a Shaman. Also, I just like Oracle more than Shaman, for reasons I'm not entirely sure of.

Yes, but only if you can cast 2nd level divine spells. Because, you know, divine spellcasters needed the boost most of all..

So, here's a question I've had on occasion: Blasting is not a very good route for a wizard to go, be it pathfinder or 3e/3.5, so then how does a wizard take their enemies out if they're solo and without a party to do the hp killing for them?
