How would you have a bendy centaur when the part that makes it a centaur (the horse part) is distinctly unbendy? At some point, its not a centaur. Its a "I want to have a horse's ass." weird hybrid that makes no sense. Not that centaurs make a lot of sense to begin with, for what that's w...

The bat's wings are folded and they still double the width of the body. I would note that all of the wings that fold to small sizes do not do so on a humanoid body type. You note that as well, but handwave it. If you can ignore the fact that there isn't a way for the wings to fold neatly to a humano...

PL, that's getting a horse to crawl in a straight line. Now try moving it from the front seat to the back seat. You know, actually fucking turn in such an environment. You can't do it. And that's the problem. My personal flat doesn't especially matter save that it's one I'm actually living in right...

No, you really aren't. Melee needs a flight item against flying monsters or it can't do anything.

William Marshal is, in your opinion, the only 3rd level equivalent person who ever lived?

If it makes you feel any better I shoot anyone working for UNICEF. I heard on the internets that it is trying to steal my freedoms, and the internets has never lied to me. I take them to Canada before shooting though. I also wear a tinfoil hat, not only because it is the pinnacle of fashion, but to ...

If flight is broken, then why does every enemy and its uncle have it? I'm reasonably sure that the real problem is that the designers want the player limited and 3D movement bypasses lots of their favorite traps. In other words, designers are lazy and they want you to die. In a fire, if possible.

They, uh, already did that. 4e angels are a band of mercs that the gods recruited out of the astral sea to fight 'da Ebil Primordials' at the Dawn of Time. Now all gods have them, so you can go smack around Bane's Angels of Retribution/Vengenance/Whatever. They're faceless and elemental themed. Muc...

And he implied that they won't be benevolent. Because god knows, characters can't ever have anything actually work out in their favor. This and the whole smug "if I were psychic, hur, hur, hur." thing are what piss me off about that. It is seriously like throwing out one of the more impor...

Well, that has more to do with the retarded, "Yes, I seriously do think that a Weapon Prof is a real feat. Why do you ask?" than with the fact that WotC can't playtest or even read their own books. But still, it isn't like you can actually break the game with more feats without a whole lot...

Again, what pure arcane caster wastes slots on Wraithstrike? It's a wand spell primarily, it helps melee . It isn't like it was on the Druid or Cleric spell list, that might be abusive. Cleric with the Magic domain (use spell-trigger items as a wizard) + wand of wraithstrike. :thumb: Oh, teh noes. ...

Hrum. I thought wraithstrike was abusive, although similar effects can be had with Combat Brute or whatever. It is abusive. It pretty much is just a straight up kick to the nuts of any fighter class, since it makes attack bonuses as a whole just not matter anymore. Now, there are certainly more bro...

Hrum. I thought wraithstrike was abusive, although similar effects can be had with Combat Brute or whatever. Not really. Casters don't care, because they got touch attacks anyway. Or don't roll, whatever. Gishes would rather use the slot to get a more permanent bonus, or are so high level that this...

So, what is this squares system? I take it it's worse than the regular D&D 5' squares thing? Okay, every size has a different size square. A medium square is 4'. A fine square is 3". Yes, three bloody inches. A colossal square is 64'. Your movement speed is measured in your size's square. ...

It greatly tempts me to make that protest version of d20 that she accused me of using the boards to make. Except, as I pointed out, I don't have the attention span or the design talent. I should stop going to the WotC boards, (and the LoZ d20 boards for that matter) because all they do is piss me the fvck off. I'm sure that the fact that they are ignoring the fluff, and any semblance of good DMing, never sunk in. From what I read, the thread could be summarized, "I balance the class by killing anyone who has the temerity to play it!" Also, from the WotC boards: DM Rule 11: The best word a DM can...

Ah... tying concrete results to stackable skill DC mods. It really seems like the kind of thing that shouldn't break the game. -Username17 Ah, but then you have to include at least two nigh infinite loops into the game. All one requires is a DC 10 skill check. The other at least requires you to get...
