I think Tasslehoff Burrfoot broke one of his in a novel, but that's about it...

In the Night Angel trilogy, Azoth lusts after a special metal set of picks, because it would never break from metal fatigue and was flexible, but was a bitch to make and hence expensive.

Hey. So, last day before the campaign ends, though we do have In-Demand funding afterward. If we can hit at least $1000 before this ends, I can pay for the three taverns we have 90% done. If we don't... I can get only 2 taverns covered, unfortunately. We'll still be including recipes, cocktails, spe...

Any suggestions for improvement then? I can try and fix the video; did that on the pared-down Twitter video. I do need to figure something for international shipping; the EU seems like a pain in the ass from what others tell me.

Ed is doing at least one tavern, and some magic items along with a Tome style "Adventure in..." with the usual 3 tiers. His first one is 95% done, and it includes 2 food recipes and 1 signature drink. I've tested one dish, a mushroom and cheese tart and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I t...

Spirits and Songs book

So, while I guess this is more of a Kickstarter shilling type item, I figure crossposting here where things aren't about IRL shitstorms seems like it'd get more eyes. So, I launched a crowdfunding campaign for my 2nd ever product release! https://scontent.fybz1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/95223484_9149...

I'm sorta under quarantine, and I definitely have some form of virus but the province is basically only testing people with direct links to China and such. I've no idea what I've got, but it is frustrating.

So, bout a month ago I got referred to a fat loss doctor (my doctor ignoring all the indications I have hemochromatosis), which sucked. Anyway, I'd lost a few pounds by then and the fat doc prescribes me some sort of appetite suppressant. Expensive as fuck, but since they were implying my life was i...

Heartbreaker Press Presents... Ed Greenwood

So, turns out it is a small world after all, as I learned Ed Greenwood lived a mere hour's drive from me. After meeting twice at local events I arranged for a skype interview with him. Sadly, there were apocalyptic technical issues and I had to re-record all my lines. We lost the first bit where we ...

I had to put down my furry little girl the other day. Was fine Monday, then seemed sick Tuesday, and was clearly in trouble when I got home after work Wednesday. First animal hospital booked me for 11pm, but the vet called in sick. Found another 24 hour hospital. Probably was Kidney failure. Finally...

Finally "fully" launched my company. Took a long time to come together, so hopefully it'll pay off. Site is a bit barebones due to my lack of webdesign ability/the limited tools the builder has, and from lack of funds. We're offering paid GMing and RPG supplies. https://heartbreakerpress.c...

After 13 years of "dealing with it", I finally got some help for depression. My previous doc basically blew me off in years past, and his replacement agreed that trying out a low-dose anti-depressant may be in order. Been a bit over a week, but I think I've been noticing improvements. Look...

Linux Mint is pretty solid, and has been fairly easy to use in my experience. It's based off Debian, IIRC and runs on damn near anything.
