In case you need to fiddle around with the bootloading chain supergrub, has proven itself to be helpful in the past. It might help accessing a still living OS, if there should be one left.

The math pans out well enough, to forego watcher spam as a superior option of finding people. The Seattle sprawl is about 110km x 50km a so its fair to assume that there will be a decent amount of distance between the mage attempting to find the players and the mage trying to ascertain their positio...

There is also a Cheatsheet available, for easy reference at the table. It does not include the TM stuff though.

Surgo wrote:Sma, could you add paragraph indents to the equipment spotlights and anything that uses that font scheme? Not having them makes it really, really hard to read.
Done. With a nearly unnoticeable delay to boot.

New PDF here, if someone volunteers a real host please do so.

I'm with Josh here, but would aim for even shorter amounts of realtime to resolve a fight. For a group of 4 players with a quickly drawn sketch for a map and no counting of squares for positions I'd like the following: Overcoming a few pushovers (Beatcops, Gangers, some Goblins or animal intelligenc...

I'm in favor of Initiative: Roll once when entering combat. If possible not modified after that so I can write it down on a peice of paper and don't have to put little arrows all over it if someone decides to delay or gets hit. Attacks: Attack Roll Defense Roll NO Soak Roll NO Damage Roll To resolve...

Gosh Frank, and here I was thinking it was all that legal pot and prostitution that made the Danes so mellow today. (And that "Damm Good Bier") I mean those Norsemen would have never gone to Vineland if they only had a little smoke and sex every so often. But it was obviously the notion o...

Brainhacking in the sense of reprogramming people gets a lot of press, but is relegated to the realm of GM fiat. If your character stick is to reliably make someone do his bidding you are plain better off picking a magician and specializing in manipulation. Lets take a look at the brainhacking optio...

Questions: 1: Sticky? 2: could we have some rigger-oriented play examples? What kind of examples are you looking for? In our games the Rigger usually comes to the table with a setup like this: Logic - Jumped In Shooting, being sneaky and Program use Intuitition - Jumped in driving tests and dodging...

There's a long tradition of editors missing page references and leaving the placeholder XX in. This is especially true for RPG's where there tends to be even less money alloted for crossing the t's, dotting the i's, playtesting and catching mistakes like a missing reference. At least that's what I t...

It says straight out that creatures cannot be used as cover. So ruling that they indeed count as such is exactly the GM fiat I was talking about.

No clue about the distracted thing though.

I don't see this as a huge problem because while you may get cheaper bots, you'll have to pay doctors, nurses, ASIST specialists and psychologists to keep those brains happy and running. So it will make sense for some branches of a corp that happens to have these people on hand anyway. But others wi...

The admittedly limited cheese lies in ending up with one point of magic and taking the counterspelling skill at 6. Thus you and your end up with a decent number of dice in spell resistance for 34 BP (more if you want to take cyberware, which you´ll want to). It´s not something I am worried about. Be...

Only happens when I open multiple tabs at once.

Reloading (or simply loading) a single page always works atm.

Trying to go to the third page of this very topic gives a "No posts exist for this topic"

Ta for keeping an eye out, though.

The Crack Sprite pretty much is a must have, because it comes preloaded with Jedi Trick Master Control and Ostraka and can be given Misplace as well. Since this is Shadowrun having a Sprite that allows you open doors, spoof cameras and steal cars seems like a no brainer. I don´t think this is bad tho...
