If I'm remembering Return to Astral Shrine correctly (that's the one with the chess pieces, right?), I managed to do it without Whirlwind. If I'm remembering correctly, I had heavy use of discard effects and lava creation on my mage, my warrior had lots of reach, lunge, and a few piercing powers, an...

Chapter 3: Classes The chapter start pages are weird, they’re just a different color with a banner that says “Classes in Warcraft” that’s the exact same size as the banner of “Orcs”. But we’ll roll with it and we’re at the fun part that everyone loves, the real meat. Classes are extremely similar t...

World of Warcraft RPG Core Book This book basically uses modified 3.5. Assume everything is like 3.5 unless stated otherwise. Even most spells are just 3.5 spells. Introduction I’m not going to go over this stuff, but the Introduction takes you all the way to page 25, and includes “What is an RPG”,...

OSSR: World of Warcraft RPG

First, let me start by saying I greatly respect World of Warcraft – I think it’s one of the most culturally and design-wise significant games ever, and that Blizzard really knows its stuff. While its’ had rough spots, WoW has constantly been improving, polishing, etc. RPGs honestly do have a lot to ...

There was originally a Warcraft tabletop RPG before WoW itself came out. When WoW came out, the tabletop RPG was re released as a WoW RPG.

I can't find my Diablo 2 RPG books, so even though there's a previous request of that, I'm going to do some WoW RPG books instead.

You get a certain amount of free pizza in the campaign early on (and do not have to spend it as the campaign instructs you to), but otherwise it's what you get if you pay money.

I had that problem with my wizard too, until I hunted down a bunch of items in the shop to fill those niches.

Power tokens are given out at certain levels, and are more "allotted" than used it. It's a "You can only have two items equipped with silver power tokens at one time" type thing. The exact levels you get power tokens are here: http://wiki.cardhuntria.com/wiki/Power_Tokens Your fi...

The single player gets very hard, very fast. I don't think spending money is going to get you anywhere, though. If anything, the randomized chests you can buy with cash are totally worthless. If you want to spend money to get more power, buying the premade multiplayer teams seems the best bet. Other...

Just so I understand it, you do stuff like "TITLE" WARDEN "/TITLE" And then define at the beginning that "Title is 18 size font underlined", and can change that around, right? Because that's what I thought it did and is basically exactly what I am looking for. Thanks fo...

Sent and sent. I have one code left. Let me know what you two think. I really love the game, but haven't been playing much - got blocked really late game by a bunch of pain in the ass uber monkeys and a giant enemy crab man, and I'm sorta just chilling on it until the beta is over and all the progre...

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a pdf creator? I want to write a word document with a cover made in photoshop and make a nice looking pdf out of it. What can I use? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for using Latex text editing? I hear it's pretty good for writing stuff and formatting af...

For what it's worth - I DO have a problem with video game violence, and am pretty disgusted by a lot of the games that glorify it without any sort of irony of taste to it, especially "real world" violence. I have major problems with the Call of Duty series, for instance. I am also quite ab...

How about the fact that people are generally becoming more vocal about it, and have had enough, and Dragon Crown has had the misfortune of being defended in ways that outright make it worse, like the artist accusing male critics of being gay? Or alternatively that the art style for Dragon's Crown IS...

The fact is "Stop liking boobs" is never an argument made by anyone, and that you would even pretend it is ever means you actually pretend strawmen used by sexist idiots are actual things that occur, which means you are not worth talking to as a person.

If he gets to complain that the constant, unyielding sexism of the video game industry and really just society in general is people telling men to "stop liking boobs", I get to say he's defending a rape game. If anything, I'm the one being more honest here.

Considering you think "Stop liking boobs! Boobs are evil!" is an illegitimate complaint somebody would make, I will leave you to enjoy your rape games in favor of trying to have discussions with somebody who.. uh... doesn't feel a need to defend rape games presented as mainstream entertain...

Dragon's Crown (at least in the japanese? not sure if english?) has an easter egg that has a woman tied down to a bed and you get to poke at her and she moans and squirms. Yes, there's nothing especially sexual about that at all... I mean, if you think your weird rape fantasies aren't actually sexual.

It's also worth noting that the shifter purge is generally viewed as a terrible overreaction - werewolves were nasty as fuck and killing shittons of people, so they were fought back against and killed en masse, and a lot of people got too overzealous and started killing shifters too, and the book do...

It's worth noting that the demon in the flame explicitly has its OWN champion, who is petrified and kept bound in prison, because if she died it would get a new champion. It's also explicitly not a far realm creature - it's a demon lord linked to strife and treason. Any attempt to call it a "fa...
