Classes Now we come to the part of the book that people can identify with, if someone were to just pick it up and turn pages. Steam Warriors has a ton of PrCs, mostly variants on Steamborgs, but other classes get a little love, too. I don't much care for the opening spiel of the section, though Pre...

I know Frank has said that D&D esque games can have feats like D&D does it, but reward additional ones at the end of every session. Do you think that would improve this game at all, especially the feat selections? Also The Grease lizard Taming sounds really interesting. That would be a cool...

No, not an actual feat in here. In an unusual move from an editing standpoint, the book's first proper sectio...

Also power Armors!

Also rereading the book, alternate metals.
And armor worn by suicide bomber orcs, and Cleaning Acid, which doesn't damage metal.

Anyway, helping a friend move, going to be somewhat later today when next section is posted.

It looks like the sawblade actually splits in two, and fingers stretch forward to be the forks that hold it. So presumably there's a "not actively chainsawing fucks" mode. I'd love to see a steamborg leg with a built-in cannon based on the same active/inactive mode idea. Like you swing yo...

I think someone needs to tell this artist if that's the case (upper left).
Maybe he likes the taste. Or he's trying really hard.

OSSR: Dragonmech: Steam Warriors

Steam Warriors http://pictures.abebooks.com/isbn/9781588467867-us-300.jpg Chnk-GSSSSSS OVERVIEW For all its obscurity, Goodman Games really did try with Dragonmech. There's a mech manual, a location sourcebook that's pretty decent, a sort of "Campaign Book 2" about more in-depth things in...

Will you do the other one afterwards? I don't really play these games, but those two are so wicked cool to me as a fan of big mechs and steam punk/scifi I could. But, okay, here's a preview of Steam Warriors: It's about 120 pages and it's mostly in 20 page blocks, give or take a few pages per secti...

So my little sister asked if I wanted to do a ride-along and manage her phone for Pokemon Go while she took care of some errands. I discovered a few things about Pokemon Go: 1) Addictive as shit, for all its minimalism. 2) Holy shit, one of the parks in my city spawned six dratinis while we were the...

Fuck yes! Just got a job offer! I still have to talk it over with my wife before I accept, but the compensation was better than I was expecting. If you're going to go the whole multiple resource management systems, you're probably going to want to kick 3e open multiclassing to the curb. And if you're going to do that, you can also and equally kick the entire Prestige Class concept to the curb as well. The high tier titles can be a chosen up...

I might get the DLC as I love katanas. Also the story and pacing is good from what I've read, with seaside spookiness It's a while before you hit the katana. And the seaside. Just fair warning there. But I do recommend the DLC, it includes a fair amount of content and challenge. And the new weapons...

The cane's strong attack--the lunge--also penetrates armor better than the normal attacks or whip's attacks. It was my first playthrough's weapon. Fun times.

This is starting to sound like copy-protection done to fuck up pirated copies. Like how Dark Souls 1 had the Black Phantoms everywhere and Batman: Arkham Asylum changed the gliding so you couldn't make it over one gap.

Still looking forward to the full and proper rageview from Maxus. I've been going through with a highlighter. It -hurts- to re-read this closely, much less type it out fully. But it -is- coming. Incidentally, I did the review on Goodreads and the author, to his credit, took the criticism like a cha...
