Re: Paladin Rewrite
Needs Atonement at level 1 with no XP cost for the paladin and perhaps a limit on atonement frequency for a particular character.

it's all a giant drama-llama-fest where Mama LoP is trying to keep her bickering offspring from hurting each other (and you know that rascally Asmodeus, he's such a sweet boy when he's playing with his older cousin Heironious and they go around enforcing broken laws, but he just can't help getting ...

Tthe most important strategic location in the game world, if it should exist and be known, has to stay unconquered by any conflicting forces through the whole history of the game world. With (T = inf) and (N conflicting forces = over 9000), the neutral force controlling it has to be quite impressive...

PMS is bullshit, along with female hysteria. Menstruation, in addition to obvious concerns, can be painful like beind repeatedly stabbed in the stomach with a blunt knife. It being over is a cause for seeing lollipops and rainbows everywhere, not for bitching.

Wizard 1, Martial Weapon Proficiency. Be a LA+0 outsider instead for the proficiencies and alter self cheese. What about the party wizard? Can he bust out the full plate? Wearing fullplate starts to be a suboptimal choice at some point. As a DM, I disallow newbs when they ask for yet another option...

The same graph with the grid added: http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r89/codexhammer/d6vsd20grid.png Also, the thresholds are now corrected, and yes, I fvcked up, that would be +7 for d20. The idea is that a probability becomes noticeably lower if it's e (~=3) times less than usual (I'm going to u...

2. Combinations without repeats. We have an assortment of n different items (A B C D E F G H) and have to select a set of k of these items. The order in which we select items is now irrelevant. A mental experiment (as in Permutations) generates a sequence of elements, where A B C D E, C D B A E and ...

1. Permutations (without repeats). We have an assortment of n different items (A B C D E F G H) and have to select a sequence of k of these items (where k<=n, obviously). n=8, k=5 A B C D E F G H -- 8 items to choose from 1 2 3 4 5 . . . . . -- the sequence, currently empty So we choose the first it...
