ohh yeah Warframe has something along those lines and it's hilarious There's like 17 kinds of damage players can do (3 physical, 4 primary elemental, 8 secondary elemental, 2 random ones that don't apply much). Each one of them has different multipliers for different kinds of health (there's like fo...

I never got all the hype for Bloodlines (I played it in the early 2010s and I tried to play it again a year ago). It had great atmosphere, but that was it. The writing was scattershot, the gameplay was a damn lie, and there was a whole lot of jank. I'm not the biggest WoD nerd, but it'd be nice to s...

I think Warframe's mass use of RNG is a good example of this. With each pull of the trigger, there's like 4-7 die rolls to determine multishot/crit/status/status effect (oh shit that could be doubled/tripled depending on the multishot roll). All this die rolling evens out because of the sheer number...

This is a completely cynical attempt to thread the needle of marketing by appealing to people who like Confederate iconography while trying not to offend the people who hate the Confederacy's slavery and torture. Which is what bothers me the most imo. I love the South and it has some good roleplayi...

I think you'd be interested in Twig. There's a lot of biotech overlap, except Twig takes place in 1921 with British colonialism turned up to 11 and then some. Scrolling through its tvtropes at least should turn up some good ideas.

How about throwing the horror shit under some company that Pentex acquired a decade or so back as a startup? I'm not too familiar with most of the WW canon, but I'm chuckling at the idea of a megacorp buying some promising young medical transplant/artificial organ company and turning it into a littl...

If Vampire wanted to be edgy right now, they'd talk about how the first thing that people do when they become vampires is Blood Bond a rich person and pay off their students loans because capitalism is a fucking joke. It'd actually be pretty interesting if they had examples of shit like this that p...

Preface: One of the quirks/issues of when I play strategy/rpg vidya that has a party of different characters, is that once I find my feet I fall into a rut and generally use the same setup all the way through to the final boss. For example, LISA The Painful RPG has ~30 party members, all of whom are...
