Can you tag people in AR? As in "You can't see the enemies, but I can. I mark them so that, while you can't see the enemy, you can still see the ARO/Tag/Equivalent I put up and know where to shoot/where they move" Looking at the drone chapter I know that you can highlight enemies: [quote=&...

Am I reading it correctly that the more ware you have, the easier a Cyberware scanner can find you?
Is there a way to shut them down/avoid them like you can do with MAD?
And how common should they be?

Not exactly: Melee Full Defense: REA+Dodge+Dodge or REA+Dodge+Gym or REA+Dodge+(Weapon Skill) or REA+(Weapon Skill)+(Weapon Skill) Ranged Full Defense: REA+Dodge or REA+Gym Dodge is useful if you are often in Melee ranged fights, since you always add it to your defense pool and have three means to a...

Stahlseele, I'm not talking about using RAS override on a normal person. I'm talking about using it on a person with an epileptic fit, someone whose brain (and thus his motor neurons) are working overtime. The question is: Is the inhibition of the motor neurons (which is what the RAS override does) ...

But does it fully disable movement?
Or does it only suppress it, leaving the patient to (theoretically) move normally?
And how much of a threshold do you need to clear to stop it? 2 (as with MBW)?

reaction+dodge+dodge That's Full Defense against Melee. And yeah, if you have a good Dodge you might get a better dice pool. But Full Defense against Ranged is just Reaction+Dodge. And you have the same dice pool with REA 5 Dodge 5 and REA 5 Gymnastics 2 Synthacardium 3 Which costs you far less. An...

How would you disable a Bio-Monitor?
Ostraka could throw it out of the network, but that would make it stop sending.
Misplace could too, but it would also be obvious.
Can you use Impersonate and Fabricate to send the fake signals?

Synthacardium adds its rating because dodge is a dicepool where you are using the skill when you gymnastic dodge. ? The description of Synthacardium says: The synthacar- dium adds its rating as a dice pool modifier on all Athletics Tests. Which are skills in the Athletics Group (Climbing, Flight, G...

Having Str 3 is great for everyone including mages, because more Str lets you wear more armor. Err. Too much armor, however, can slow a character down. If either of a character’s armor ratings exceeds his Body x 2, apply a –1 modifier to Agility and Reaction for every 2 points (or fraction thereof)...

How would you balance elves with the other metatypes?
Because AFAIS they cost 30BP, but those go 1:1 into AGI (Godstat) and CHA (Secondary Godstat), and they get Low-Light Vision on top for free
The way I see it there is no good reason to take a human over an elf

When you want to increase an attribute which you have augmented with Karma, is the cost based on your natural attribute or the total?
If e.g. I have AGI 3 and Muscle Toner 2 giving me AGI 3(5), is the cost to raise it 12 (4*3 Karma) or 18 (6*3 Karma)?

[*] A Connection does not require LOS. If you want to have it in your Network it must be in Handshake range of your network. If it's a Directional Retransmitter and you want to use is to draw LOS from, you need to have LOS to it. Does that mean that if I want to chain Directional Retransmitters tha...

Going over my last post: Collapsible Bow: First option would be to make it far pricier. 500n¥/Rating while making the Damage R+0 to account for the far faster time. Too Costly? Second one would be to make the building gradual. So you need at least one CT to deploy it which would make it start at R2....

And again: 1) The difference between normal bow and cross bow is in the fact that one of them works by you spanning the string and letting it go (Bows) and one works by cocking a string into a latch and releasing it through pressing a trigger (Cross Bows). this is the only thing determining whether ...
