Ignoring your straw man fallacy, the resolution of said proposed tension between efficient market economy and social benefits-full package, whatever,is called government. Whether an efficient market economy free of any government intervention-can you say monopoly/monopsony ?- is really desirable is n...

Re: Egypt's Foreign Minister will break you.
So the only source of fruitful speculation then is if
Ahmed actually does the leg-breaking himself or if he
allows underlings the privilege therof. One has to agree
that Operation Annie Wilkes is an interesting approach
to border security-and certainly cheaper than virtual
fences.

A new teacher is among us
[br] If I remember correctly, the fencebuilder graduated last[br]May with a teaching degree of sorts.Public school around[br]here starts today,so presuming he got a teaching[br]position and is not pumping gas somewhere and school starts the same day at the fbmf locale,he should be launching his teach...

Re: Rejoice you fvckers, Living Greyhawk is dead to 4e.
ditching greyhawk but retaining the right to namedrop
from it,and back to forgotten realms-sounds
suspiciously like 4e may be a return to living city
in RPGA IMO not necessarily a bad thing, but almost
all of the people who made LC work so well are long
gone. we shall see.

[br] I see no problem with employing pregen characters [br]to help teach the game and show the needed range of[br]various values, then in the next session(if desired)[br]let the players create their own. That's how I got people[br]to play Chivalry and Sorcery first edition, which also[br]featured mathe...

I also disliked the epilogue.I would have preferred
them all to be standing on a terrace, quietly talking,

[br][br] I hope all was hailed and well met.I find it interesting[br]that Ramza looks so young,or is it fbmf looks so[br]mature/old?Of course looks are often deceiving;my son goes to high school with 15-years olds that easily [br]look 27.I can see it already, though. In thirty years[br]fbmf-wearing an...

[br] my mostly irrelevant two cents:[br][br] Economic communism is a very pretty theory based on[br] a flawed premise, the labor theory of value.Once that[br] theory is set aside, the whole thing falls like a house of cards. [br][br] Pure capitalism is based on human and economic self-interest.Well,pe...

Re: Writing a disturbingly derivative story.
IMO it is a matter of semantics.Write the story
and pass it around for comments as suggested. If
the consensus it is very/too TT-ish,remove the word story
and insert the word pastiche.
