Yeah, thanks SGamerz. I have only played CYOA books before this one, so I was quite impressed with the variety of mechanics running in the background of this one: crosses for time keeping, body swapping page numbers and the different kinds of bullets were all really cool. An assortment of questions...

Siege of Sardath is one of my favourites, but it does require going a very specific path to win, and has a couple of early game "fuck you"s that don't materialise until right at the end. Luke Sharp is just an embarrassment to FF and all his books should be burned in a fire. I like all of P...

Closed door first. Kind of interesting that exactly 11 gets a separate section to 12+, but part of me suspects the 12+ section is "Naughty kitten, we didn't actually add enough Gain Honour sections for you to do that". Yes 12+ is the "cheating bastard" response. 11 recognizes th...

As a Tory PM, the first is how I'd describe a Tory, the second is how I'd describe a Lab/Lib/SNP. I'd go for the second, if our choice actually determines the allegiance of the victim.

How do you get the cat? It seems that we need one of the other climbing methods to prompt further interaction with the cat's owner. We get the opportunity to use the cat at both the points we used the slippers, is it functionally identical?

Let's check our pack, which should be a harmless action. However I think relying on our skills, (AGILITY or LUCK seem relevant here), is likely better than an item that the narrative probably thinks we've very likely used already and could easily be a trap, attracting the rukh's attention.

I'd guess Turkey. Being hardline to Turkey should play well to the EU27, our backbenchers and the British public. Win-win-win, (except for the Turks).

Any discussion over Gibraltar will just piss the Spanish off.

Buy another water bottle and a candle, ditch jasmine flower, check out the noise behind the door in the djinn's castle. Everything else the same.

Fair enough. I'll change my vote to jobs and universities.

Does this mean our global strategy is going to be as conciliatorily as possible to the EU27 or just play it by ear and mix and match?

Poles and Bulgarians with low level jobs were the biggest talking point that pushed the UK into Leave in the first place.

If our goal is to deliver some kind of Brexit this needs to be addressed, so "Highly qualified workers only". I assume this'll tank our goodwill though.

Half a vote not to, on the basis the twist is that the "venomous" scorpion is going to be the good guy, whilst the "noble" gryphon is an asshole.

Going over the options sounds like expostition that won't actually affect anything and will go straight on th the "solutions". If not though, I agree with Darth tot to be pointlessly antagontistic, let's just ask for options.

Well done on a successful runthrough, Darth. I don't have any problem with the fact that it's possible to use your last smoke oil and lose early. Enough people told you you needed to keep at least 1 that you should really be expecting a "fuck you, game over" in the late game. However deali...

That would be worse. When Testing your Luck you need a low roll. In this case Colin only had 1/12 chance of survival but the dice gods came close.

So do we want to try again, and if so, then how? Start over from the entire beginning (either with Colin or a newly rolled character), go back and just assume we didn't try to cure Fossick's daughter (and possibly other decisions we know now are "bad"), or something else entirely? A note ...

Even the intro Mr. Shine mentioned is a lot less wordy than Heart of Fire (I'm pretty sure the intro to Gates of Death would be quicker to write than the next stretch of the Boom Mamba quest, and would be a hell of a lot easier than just about any of the intros to quests in DestinyQuest), so I shou...
