.... I mean part of the problem is that I bet mearls wrote the item rarities over lunch when he realized the book needed to be sent to the printers next week, but another one is the Eberron book coming out will be the fourth book in 5e to change or alter the way crafting works (phb, dmg, xanathar's...

So uhhh I guess to get this thread back onto a course I guess.... In the event Blicero from Gaming Hub reads this: ....Since you think that domains and mass combat is the game's killer app, I'd like to extend to you an offer to preview the revised Axioms issue 3, which has the most extensive and det...

Worth noting that unless you grab it from racial proficiencies or burn your one and only level 4 feat on it (passing up a +2 WIS to do so), only the Life domain gives 5e Clerics heavy armor. Everyone else is stuck at medium. Not that it really matters, but the tempest domain and the war domain also...

Not only doesn't fail, but raised over 2 million USD. Sure, some of that is for the minis that they were throwing in. Maybe wotc can take a note from this? This whole book printing business is alright when you actually do the book printing thing.Bigode wrote:Kickstarter for 5E supplement ... doesn't fail.

Gurunk pats his beast pal and gently tugs him away from the decaying corpses on the floor. He listens in on the citizens words and silently notes to himself that troll may not be any normal bandit, but he's not any normal troll. He nods to himself happy with the assessment of himself. He turns towar...

Gurunk flinches momentarily, unsure why he feels like a ghost just passed through him, but shrugs it off. He continues to attempt to get a good claw into the Horror, and commands his beast to do the same. OOC: I don't actually know the action required to have animal companions do things, but if its ...

Re: Table Top Industry Defeatism
So I've noticed the general acceptance among roleplaying enthusiasts that the entire industry is doomed. The products we have out right now are shoddy, bloated, unfinished, and poorly marketed. If Ford Motors decided to stop advertising and make rickety Model Ts with a skeleton crew, we wouldn't be...

Re: 5e prestige classes
I dunno. There's the implication that "this is the first wave of several" PrCs. I guess they wanted to test the waters and didn't want to waste time if this didn't pan out.CapnTthePirateG wrote:

Yeah I have no idea what the fuck they're doing with this occult book. Every class in it is just a worse copy paste of something that already exists. Except the Kineticist I guess. The medium is a worse binder with 4th level spells. Even worse is you can't even choose from your whole list. You gotta...

Pike, have you read the studies? On average the temperature is rising slightly, that is not what I dispute. Some yes, the problem is that we lack enough data to plot really term trends. it would be like if you only had the weather data for Texas for November and nothing else about the earth's data ...

your assuming Wotc would only make good decisions, this is not true, as they are human. also what is good for the exec's is not always what is good for Wotc. So maybe....one of their not good decisions .....was 4e? Maybe its a little fucked up? Just a little? At best their actions tell us at least ...

Now, the fact that you can't play the class you want to play until you've ranked up enough to GET a feat is an entirely separate shitty thing. However, it's an entirely shitty thing that has been the case since at least 3.0 unless you're gestalting. A class concept you can't play until 7th level ba...
