If your character dies and the party can't/won't bring them back, you restart with a campaign start level character unless the DM says otherwise. Are you literally insane? This is monumentally stupid and no one does this. Either produce a citation for this "rule" or admit that you're maki...

I imagine that it's some sort of house-ruled item that some DM gave to some guards in his home campaign. So the intended duration was probably "until mook #44, who just drank the poison, dies." That just raises further questions! What kind of DM would give mooks a potion that will likely ...

There's certainly a perception among certain circles that never admitting you made a mistake is necessary to maintaining a strong company.

Those circles include both James Jacobs and Donald Trump, though, so make of that what you will.

Why do we even need the paladin to have a code in the first place?

Paladin is a motherfucking game construct. It just means "guy with full BAB, cleric spellcasting, and a pretty horsie." None of those things require any alignment or code of conduct whatsoever.

At the risk of sounding somewhat hypocritical, holy FUCK these archetypes are just everything wrong about Paizo amped up to eleven. Piddly little shit and minor bonuses intended to give players the illusion that they matter. In their lust to cater to every possible niche (and continue to sell ludicr...

Does Middle Earth really have any traction as a setting in modern day roleplaying? I mean, 90% of it is just lines of succession and English peasant cuisine. It's not a lot of legs on which to build a game. Dungeons? Check. Dragons? Check. Murder a variety of monsters and and find fantastic bling? ...

Look, if you're the kind of person who is willing to pay $4 to have gnolls, lizardfolk, and minotaurs ($4 for a 12-page book, I might add, that apparently required three authors ) in your game, I kind of think you deserve to lie in the shitbed that you made for yourself by supporting this edition. How do solid rules make something less playable? Isn't that literally a contradiction? Nope. People tend to be happier with the rules they come up with themselves, and such rules are generally more functional in that they deliver what the individual / small group wants out of the game. Lots of game...

The fuck?

Also: if you're going to do size-based bonuses to HP for the love of god make the bonus the same for both Small and Medium characters. Creates disparate race choice incentives otherwise.

Holy shit that may be the most laughable collection of overreaching contract clauses that I've ever seen. The first one is pretty standard but the rest are hilarious. I don't think I've ever seen a waiver of moral rights before.

Until you flood the market with your Djinni-made saffron, at least. Invisibility is more trouble than it's worth, and I don't think the Ring of Regeneration allows you to come back from the massive blunt force trauma that will occur when a semi-truck runs a red light at a crosswalk with you in it.
