Abortion hurts no one. Hell, if we were truly dispassionate enough to face facts, we would probably condone killing newborns, because they're only human in a physiological sense. Our "protect the baby!" instincts are too strong for most people to be honest, though. It's not something I'm ...

Oh man, imagine if the Bible were as easy for some random nutcase to add information to as Wikipedia is... They were. That's how they got all the shit in there, some random asshole would write a story, pass it around, and it would end up in the bible. No. The bible was assembled by a council of bis...

Everything else Chekov was talking about: Election thread

Tariffs making it harder the run factories outside the US, help because you need people to maintain those robots, and you also make sure that no other country can have a monopoly on a product you buy. BLM being labeled a terrorist organization helps in the way that public perspective of it helps. In...

Stuff about Islam

So Frank says that Russia has been the aggressor vs Islam. "Until the beginning of the 18th century, Crimean Tatars were known for frequent, at some periods almost annual, devastating raids into Ukraine and Russia.[29] For a long time, until the late 18th century, the Crimean Khanate maintained...

Muslims trying to conquer the world is propaganda fed by the far, far right; funnily enough both brown (Wahhabist militants) and white (honestly pick a member of the Western right at random at this point). I pray that you are merely ignorant instead of toxic, so instead of yelling at you (Frank and...

This whole thing is still ridiculous. You are calling people racist for stating facts. Know what Trump said about black people? He said that their situation sucks. More crime, orphans and single mothers. How is that racist? Its not racist to point things out. Being called racist because I see proble...

Are elves insect warriors or not? Only if Champion of the Parish is an Ape Soldier and Aven are Bird Warriors I don't know how to read sarcasm, so I can't tell, but one of the older times when they had elves, they were insect warriors that summoned fuck tons of insects. And it was its own thing tha...

I found the typing in MTG to be both too broad and too narrow at the same time. Like minotaurs and orcs. Both of those were ideas that just died, and I'm a bit disappointed with them, but the ones that lived ended up going too far. Are elves insect warriors or not?

When you wonder why you have someone on ignore. And then you click on their post, and you don't wonder anymore. This just helps to prove my point. I haven't actually said anything about my personal political stance, but because I could be a Trump supporter my post is dumb. No, your post is dumb bec...

Having only read bits and pieces of this entire thread, (it is really big), I find the aversion to Trump hilarious. I honestly can't understand why you all don't get why people like him. The reason people like him is for several reasons: 1. The right has lost every major conflict for the last 30 yea...

I'm surprised that Koumei hasn't already posted something about Koukaku no Pandora. Seemingly, it was written by Excel's Saga's creator (Rikudo Koushi), which means I'll look for them ASAP. Again, someone else said it for me. In this case whipstitch.

But, srsly, tanky but not hard hitting is a thing that a lot of players want. Doing away with it for the sake of realism is stupid. The people that complain about realism like fighters.

Frank still answered your question though. The only reason for monsters to be more powerful in their lairs is to make so that it isn't world breaking to have a low level adventure without some badass monster killing you.

Can't report on the value of gameplay, but I don't get good feedback from players when using stats that double as offense and defense. I have players that love to be a full glass cannon and players that want to be a tanky tank. This. There is a trope in some stories to have a guy that can take any ...

This whole idea is really dumb. It makes characters that have less diversity between them for no gain. Its okay to have 6 stats. I could understand rolling wisdom and charisma into one. Nobody i've ever met can define either of them anyway. But making so that you attack and defend with strength make...

So, theres a mod somewhere that allows you to have your other characters as followers. Annnnd I can't remember what it is called, or even where I found it. Anyone else know what I am talking about? Just reading about Enderal makes me want to be able to play in Innistrad with Skyrim and patches. Would Enderal broadly suit that desire? The amount of personal work that you would have to put in to make that work means that it probably is too much effort. It seems to me that Enderal players feel t...

Oblivion realms serie is fun, but really difficult. I'm not playing a game anymore, just trying to survive.

Forgotten City is fanfrickintastic. I will probably play that super skyrim brothers thing at some point but I have a few more hours of the first 2 mentioned left.
