Why are they named after an ancient christian heresy? Why are they named after a tribe that invaded ancient India? Should I mention that I watched Triumph of the Will before making this class? Anycase, the class variant seems redundant, as its only indicated by the race that you can't fly only in M...

I thought it would be more obvious that the name is a joke.

I had a moment of braindeath, and I couldn't think of anything.

So, people were talking about the failure of Raptorans, and how a flying at level 1 race was needed, so I figured I would give it a try. Fluff When Urukesh the Warlord descended on the human city of Afir, the humans knew that they were doomed. His army numbered 10 thousand, and their city had 2000 i...

I also played a Raptoran in a pair of campaigns that ran simultaneously, where we were good in one, and evil in the other. The tribe that both of my raptorans were from were attacked, and one turned to dark gods and used their power for revenge, while the other just went insane and took levels of b...

I agree that full flight at 12HD is stupid, but if you keep all the background shit around raptorans, and just add they can fly, then they become an awesome race. The best moment I had with them was actually the part where I read about the myth of how Lolth became the underground Godess that she is....

Low level flight would have restrictions on it like "you can't attack or cast spells on rounds where you fly" or something. -Username17 I've kept them in my heartbreaker, and I skipped on the whole leveling thing and just gave them flight. So, I agree that they are poorly implemented. Tha...

Why are they so unpopular? They are my favourite race. I find ability score changes boring for base races, and so these guys fit perfectly. They have flying as a thing for freeish. A pact with air elementals. Climb boost of ridiculous levels. Oh, and they like arguing. Whats not to like? I do unders...

I usually don't pick up ongoing things because I get to the end of what is currently written and feel miserable for a while, but this sounds/looks cool enough to give it a try. I assume you mean the one written by Kim Sung-min?

Girls of the Wilds I know it sounds like porn, but it actually isn't. Its a shoujo based on martial arts. Edit: clicked post before I finished. Stupid beer. Correction, it started as a shoujo, with the typical half naked guys hanging out, and then developed into a shounen with cute girls everywhere....

Last time I tried to introduce people, I used 3.5 core only. And then went through the process of selling each class. Everyone was a druid. I just made their characters for them based on what they wanted, and I still wanted to kill everyone at the table.

There is another thing that Dota does better than Lol. A patch with that much stuff, and it only took 7 minutes for me to download, as opposed to where Lol updates took 15-20.

My brother needs players for a 3.tome game

He is running a Tome game on Roll20.
Sunday evenings Seattle time.
Start at level 1, he estimates 3 months to completion.

Using Frank's tome armour.
He is okay with pretty much anything that you to use.

The "human factor" is much stronger in the tabletop environment, to the point of allowing fun even when sidelining the rules completely. (bs: I said sidelining, not ignoring it) - player buy-in, good communication and setting/themes interest can have a much heavier impact on the resulting...
