Finally, I can join the love of my life, and also be 2D. More seriously, I think a 2D plane is an interesting concept to play in, but it would take a lot of explanation and I don't know if it's the kind of thing your group would be game for. My group, for example, is super heavy into RP and characte...

Maybe the Den has earned enough of a reputation that the 5E trolls don't think it's worth wasting their time? Not a goddamn chance. People don't respect reputations on the internet. If you told a 4rry that the Den was full of mean people who will destroy your argument and hurt your feelings if you ...

So what do you do when the dice decide your character refuses to go back to the dungeon to advance the plot? Roll up a new character? Go play Smash Bros?

I'm not entirely convinced that this is a mechanic that is in any way good for the game.

I don't know its rules well enough to know if it's broken or not, but I remember some fairly cool mechanics in Tenra Bansho Zero, which is pretty goddamn anime.

Hey, there are plenty of other reasons to be angry at Mashpotato Samurai and his game design choices.

Yo, put down the pitchforks. Mewtwo is FREE DLC only if you have both versions.

If you only have one, he'll probably just cost five bucks.[/u]

Well, you've got games like Tenra Bansho Zero which are very stylistically cohesive, and were designed intelligently with that in mind. D&D tries to be everything for everyone so it can often fall flat there. I personally came to a realization similar to this when I first played Blazblue after h...

I killed a handful of pretty tough Zergling-with-bioharpoons creatures in an online campaign a few months back as a Drider schoolgirl using a Psionic variant of Genowhirl's 'Tome' Assassin. I don't think she used any magic, although she might've had some temp HP from Vigor. Killed a handful of above...

IIRC there are a few D&D abilities that are 'balanced' around the idea that you can only get one swift per turn. A non-Wizards example would include the Tome Monk, which is completely nonsensical if you can spend your move action to activate a second stance.
