Thanks for that, Lokathor, but could you include levels, BAB and saves in the table for completeness' sake? Further more, the endure elements ability: is that the incantation version, namely does it make your allies immune to your breath weapon, or the spell version, namely mostly useless? EDIT: Als...

That makes sense. You are correct. Then the depth should also max at 20 feet, and the sinkhole will be a perfect cube.

No, they just have two. Depth is infinitesimally small. You poke your head into one, and it'll come out the other with your neck body still just outside the first one. Of course, only if you are the Sandsculpter that made it, since only they can use it. For other people, it's just an weird area is s...

It's a bad feat yes, but it let's you ignore desert conditions, which is thematic. Thanks for the rewrite! I'll try to fix the problems right away.

The feat is in sandstorm. I'll fix it all now.
EDIT:
Revised again, with your comments added.

Actually, it is only my second language. You are right about the second ability, I retyped it up with a mistake, I will correct that now. I'm sorry. If it is really that poorly written, yes please rewrite it! EDIT: Also, many of the abilities are clones of Wintersmith, except they deal acid damage i...

Sandsculpter (Re-write of another class)

Foreword: I am making an egyptian themed campaign and one of my players wants to play a Wintersmith reflavored as a desertsmith or something. I tried to simply copy and paste the wintersmith over as a stonesmith, but it doesn’t work very well, so now it’s a little bit of a project melding a few clas...

Maybe drop the range then.

But 2d6 isn't insane damage, and a orc can charge to close the distance.

I think it survives by using a bow until it gets better at breathing on things. Maybe it needs a Spitfire ability, similar to the Fire Mage's Fire bolt as a type of breath weapon early on? Later levels, I think it's strong enough, but I think you might be right. Early levels, how does it kill anythi...

I have a feeling I could make my group fight a Pandora's Box and they wouldn't realize they were fighting the box, and so they would STILL open it for the fire damage. At which point in time, the typical mimic fight would start.

Great stuff.

Bah that's no fun. But that's alright. What about a mimic? They are fun enough to merit one, I'd think. And you don't want to just slap cleric levels on a mimic.

Koumei, you make life so much easier as both a player and as a DM. Any chance at a gnoll? They are my favorite lower end encounters.

Well, you'e better at this than I am. I just see some few utilities missing. Like the modified Endure Elements you can slap on all your allies to make them immune to your breath weapon. Or the incantation to make your breath work under water. And dispelling magic. I'd think seeing a dragonfire adept...

What about enemies who set traps all over, wait for someone to trip one then go ambush them there? You could have them last until dawn. Or they could expend the slot until triggered or your eat the web, regaining the spell. Gah... I guess an hour is ok time. I just had mine covering an old formian h...

An hour? Maybe instead you should cap the number he can have? I was about to use this guy on a party, and I don't want him there an hour before all the time. Maybe either a day, or cap total number. My bbeg's new minion was weaving faerie fire in his little crawl spaces, and placing alarms on them. ...

Should flight mobility improve with level? By 15 having a better flight is almost required. The core dfa can use invocations to get all day better flight
Actually... this might need invocations to be able to handle later levels. Maybe you should slap on normal dfa invocations as well.

With all that in mind, I think I will quickly make another revision. Gish Pre-reqs: Character level 4 For every 4 levels you have in wizard or any other class with poor BaB progression, you gain a special +1 bonus to hit on all attacks granted by BaB. (So not on natural attacks, but most every other...

Chamomile, I responded to all of that. Maybe not directly, but all of your bolded text has a response. Kaelik Your argument makes a lot of sense. You make a few bad assumptions, but over all it's good advice. I wasn't trying to max BaB for one thing, just increase it a little. The only Gish I have r...

The reason to make it is because it does not exist yet in a fashion that is accepted. I think you should read this thread, and then rethink the validity of that particular argument. http://www.tgdmb.com/viewtopic.php?p=172766 A character option and a game mechanic are different, in my opinion. The reason to make it is because it does not exist yet in a fashion that is accepted. But I'm starting to get the idea that even if it was very well done, some people hate Gish. I don't know why though. It's a pretty popular idea, it seems. I'm not too big into Gish; I've never played as one, so I a...

@Red, rather than being earlier, it is at the same time as others. As far as the way I said it, I guess that is because I do possibly under value one BaB. Is an entire feat slot worth it? From most feats you get a string of new skills, but if a pure caster took this, all they would do is get some sk...

I was referring to the one on this website, on the list that is stickied here. Looking over this, it looks like you don't need my feat if you become an eldritch Knight. all you gain is 1 lost caster level and 1 level BaB. Oh and spell storing, so you can use one spell per encounter free. Which might...

I'mma go to bed, hopefully you can take your time and read what you say before you post. I don't need to refute every bit of bad logic and simple falsehoods you can manufacture. If there is something bad with my update, you have yet to touch on it.
