To answer the original question: Aside from WotC, no.

Interestingly, if you look at the wealth-by-level charts, it seems they use different formulas for level 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc. It's been a while since I figured them out, but I want to say it alternates between geometric and a power curve.

It is teh work!
