Re: Battles of the Star Angels and Space Devils

Since move and attack are different phases, you might want to consider that low init moves first, but high init attacks first. That way the people with the better init can position themselves better for the attack phase.

I could be range, in this case, your target number it outside of the range you can possibly hit. So that does fit, even if it really means Random Number Generator. Unfortunatly, I don't really see charisma doing much without a huge re-write. If you dig out the old 3e psionic attack and defense modes, strip out the actual mechanics and make something usable, you could probably make charisma actually useful, by making Int = Str, Wis = Dex, and Cha = Con when dea...

Well, it would be permanat damage if magic wern't such a cure-all. And their sometimes cruel humor definatly played a role in Rons insecurities, which he did take out on Hermione and Ginny (and pretty much everyone else he hung out with), which is probably where fuzzy is getting misogynism.

Well, the SRD is a good start[br] Clerics meditate or pray for their spells. Each cleric must choose a time at which he must spend 1 hour each day in quiet contemplation or supplication to regain his daily allotment of spells. Time spent resting has no effect on whether a cleric can prepare spells. ...

How about if you miss, you deal just your weapon damage as subdual, would that work? It seems to me that dealing a glancing blow with a sledgehammer would still deal some damage, and D&D combat is too abstracted to bother with true miss vs glancing blow (unless you really want to keep track of w...

Inner Child: The psychoanalyst can temporarily reduce the age of a subject they have analyzed. This inflicts a number of negative levels equal to (I have no idea), with a Will Save DC (bugger that) to negate. These negative levels last for 1 round per level of the psychoanalyst.

I've taken out the 'weave' and added mana. For example, every small community has enough skill points lying around ...

Re: Threads that make us Laugh, Cry, or Both

In order to clear huge KO counts, you just have to manage the level correctly, at least, in Dynasty Warriors 3 (the last one I played). You just fail to kill the gate captain, and enemy reinforcements keep pouring through. On some maps, you can be close enough to 3 gates to keep them active, and now...

I don't like the idea of 1/level abilities. Either you blow it too soon and you might as well not have it, or you save it 'for a rainy day' and you might as well not have it. Unless the DM just flat out tells you "This is the fight to use that ability," then odds are, you might as well not...

Usually random number generators generate a static string of numbers, but if you 'seed' it first (usually with the system clock), then you get a virtually random string of numbers. I'm guessing he just used the unix function incorrectly.
