And if you don't believe that, this is my sock puppet. I said the exact fucking things as "Ted the Flayer" as I did "Count Arioch" and none of you hypocritical fucks said a goddamn thing (except for Prak referring to me as "The New Count Arioch") when posting as Ted. Se...

Pathfinder system: I want to build a character with decent HP, as much AC as possible, good saves, and still be able to do things in combat. They allow any first party stuff and psionics crap as well. 7th level, standard treasure, the group is morally grey so anyone too goody-goody would have a prob...

I had a nice chat with the DM about Mr. I'M CHAOTIC NEUTRAL. The rest of the group agrees with me. The game is going better, but they seem resentful that I tend to take a lot of damage in combat despite me also dishing out the most. They don't believe me when I say that one more point of AC won't ma...

By core rules, how fast is Astral Travel? If I projected into the astral plane and traveled a couple hundred miles and popped back into reality, would that take more or less time than normal travel? I'm adopting a lot of it into my game world (except more emphasis on starships), and I'm just trying ...

I am in a game with 2 spellcasters using Words of Power. The wizard is useful when he casts rope trick and the sorcerer/oracle is not only never useful, the guy playing him is a fishmalk.

The spellcasters are 7th level and the most useful thing they can do is cast Acid Splash over and over again.

2) It's totally cool to roll a die for your character's behavior. The problem is that the assclown is including actions that are disruptive to the game among the outcomes. There should not be an option for "kill the good guy" or "revive the bad guy" on the die. That's Chaotic St...

I tried to tell him that out of game, he was ruining the fun of everyone at the table by sabotaging our efforts, and he wouldn't stop yapping that his alignment required him to act in such a way. If I recall correctly, one player was saying he was roleplaying "stupid", I said "suicida...

I think I wasn't communicating correctly, 40k a year is the average salary that my vocation makes in their first year (and it's a highly demanded field, I checked). I'm only paying about 2k a year in tuition.

The DM at least partially agrees with me.

There are... other issues. Some of which I admit are my fault. Mostly that his tjeese is small and weak and I won't act impressed with his character builds when he's bragging.

12, 16, and 1 is pretty easy. It's a weird college, the formulas are often wrong, there's formulas we need that aren't in the lesson plan, we're required to remember what I feel is a very large amount of stuff for a vocational program, and there are things in the lessons that are outright wrong. I'm...

Urg, they added a "new" player (he's someone that plays off and on), and he's a fucking Fishmalk. He plays Chaotic Neutral, and rolls a die to determine whether he does something sensible, or something that puts the entire party at risk (he tried to murder the party's patron while she was ...

That helps a lot.

And I'm assuming if I get 52.6 mg/mL, that means there's 52,600 mg/L. And if 44% of that is a Flouride ion, that means there's approximately 23,000 mg/L of actual Flouride in the solution.

Assuming that is accurate, I think I got it. I appreciate the help.

Anyone know how to convert a percentage of a chemical dissolved in water to mg/L? I'm coming up with that a LOT in my class. Except at no point in any of my lessons does it say how to do that. Starting to get a little fidgety here, a lot of the tests I've been taking are assuming you can memorize th...

A friend of mine runs a gas station, and he says that pumps send a quick charge through to see if you have enough money to get gas. They're SUPPOSED to refund it immediately, only it didn't do it this time. I was told to talk to my bank to get them to say that it's not their problem, then talk to th...

I need some legal advice. A gas station ripped me off, they threw a $125 fee on top of my gas purchase, and it sent me into the red (and since I got gas and a snack, I had to pay an overdraft fee TWICE on top of that!) It was made on a debit card, and I know that makes it more difficult to dispute, ...

I feel like I'm the opposite.

When I was a kid, I always played on the easiest settings because I wanted to pretend I was good at them because I literally wasn't good at anything else.

These days, I default to medium difficulty because I don't need an ego boost.
