The one that could keep summoning his mount even after it was dead, and summon its corpse in mid-air so that it would drop onto enemies? Yeah... that was all kinds of awesome. I think Catharz posted that, didn't he?Prak_Anima wrote:The titanic toad mount reminds me of the Chaos Knight PrC from a bit ago

I would rule you can't make a figment house at all, Or at least not one that someone can enter. It'd require multiple figments to create a full 3-D illusory environment that's enterable. Like PoliteNewb suggested, I fully support the idea that that figments should be 3D and non-hollow, or at the ve...

Flask rogues: how do you carry enough flasks to be meaningful in combat, and ready them in a fashion that allows you to get more than two rounds of combat without wasting a round diving into your pack for more flasks? How do you resupply in the field? Craft:Alchemy and a lenient DM? How many rounds...

It's too bad Blood Magus has such shitty entry requirements. If you can come up with a way to fake them, Dread Necro 8/Blood Magus 4/Fate Spinner 4 would be bad ass. That might work if the DM allows me to cheese that I was killed and rezzed in my backstory. Somehow, I don't think the designers inte...

Even with the horizon blocking thing, they could teleport to the moon (or whatever), and then teleport to wherever they wanted to go in the first place. No need for repeaters as long as there is some celestial body that you can actually survive going to. At least after they get Greater Teleport acce...

Slow your roll. If he isn't willing to give me his home address right now for any reason he is a hypocrite, because knowing my home address does nothing to stop me from terrorizing him, signing him up for shitty news letters, or ordering 30 pizzas in his name. There are a lot of good reasons for pr...

I'm just going to quote this to say that I think it is a good idea, and so it doesn't get lost by being buried under the pointless bickering about the existing corruption costs... which we don't actually give a fuck about, because we're talking about replacing them... A corruption prerequisite is a ...

I've had bees squatting my attic every summer for 3 years straight now, what a fucking nightmare. Apparently, once they're inside the house, they're almost impossible to get rid of again. The only upside is the little fucks at least stay in the attic. My burning hatred is consuming me; I need a bee...

It's mosquitoes that get on my nerves. Around summer, they can be really heavy. Insane, depending on the area. People who live near ponds or other kinds of water can be identified by either the faint whiff of bugspray that's always around them, or the mosquito bite marks. Yeah... I'm constantly cov...

Phaedrus: I think you missed the point. it isn't that his character was eaten for the first time that's the problem. It's the idiocy of the Shark! Although, I still don't understand why you went into melee with it ? So... the shark is the stupid one here? And it doesn't even have swallow ...

Re: Eaten by a Shark
In the last session, I actually had my first primary (I had a named NPC under my control in 2nd ed die) character die. I think that this probably exemplifies the 3.5 unfairness, as this encounter is from a boxed module. A shark has rammed the submarine we are travelling in, and it needs to surface....

Also, they could be looking out for their descendants (can't remember if they reproduce asexually or not) to help give their lineage some distinction among aboleths--and score improved bonuses for negotiation, because they've been there. They are Asexual as they lay eggs and then fertilize them, wh...

Dragon Horde should really be Dragon Hoard. Normally spelling and grammar mistakes are more or less irrelevant on teh interwebz so long as we can still get the message's gist, but Horde and Hoard have drastically different meanings; to make matters worse, there could just as easily be an ability ca...
